About Me

My family and I are living the expat life and currently call Germany home. In 2017 we sold our house, most of our belongings and jumped on a plane to Costa Rica. After 8 months living in the rainforest, we once again took flight and crossed the pond to Europe.

 

A House of Sparrows is my space to self-reflect and to share bits and pieces of our travels. I hope to offer a glimpse into my life that is filled with my loving husband, our sweet little girl and our journey to experience the world through travel, food and friendship.

I am a proud Texan with a nomad heart and believe travel doesn't have to stop after you have kids. Our family constantly seeks out new experiences wherever we call home.

 

Traveling is a lifestyle. And no matter what city or country you call home or how far or often you travel, I believe you can incorporate this passion into your daily life. A fulfilled life is a happy life.
